Use it when memory is not enough

Not every note is just a note.

UrNotes is built for the moments when you may later ask: What did I think? When did I decide? What did we agree to?

Ideas

Remember when the idea was yours.

Capture a concept, the thinking behind it, and how it changes before the conversation moves on.

Product concepts · creative work · research notes
Decisions

Keep the reasoning with the choice.

Record what you decided, the assumptions you made, and the context you had at the time.

Project calls · personal plans · team decisions
Predictions

Make the call before the outcome.

Write down a forecast while it is still uncertain, then return to the timestamped record later.

Launches · sports · markets · milestones
Agreements

Turn “we said” into a shared record.

Draft lightweight terms, add participants, review suggestions, and track who accepted.

Freelance scope · shared expenses · simple promises
A deliberate three-step rhythm

Write it. Revisit it. Finalize it.

Keep the flexibility of a working note until you are ready to create a lasting record.

01

Capture the moment

Write the idea, choice, forecast, or terms while the context is still fresh.

02

See how it changed

Cloud notes keep timestamped saved versions so you can revisit how the record developed.

03

Lock and share

Finalize a finished note in UrNotes, then share its public record link when context matters.

For lightweight agreements

Keep the terms and the responses together.

Draft the terms, add participants, review suggested changes, and see who accepted—without turning a simple understanding into a document chase.

Try agreements
Built for context, not courtroom promises

A useful record should be clear about what it means.

UrNotes helps show what your account recorded and when. That can make a conversation clearer and a memory more concrete—but it does not decide authorship, identity, legality, or what another party must accept.

UrNotes is not a law firm, notary, identity-verification provider, or certified evidence-preservation service. For high-stakes or regulated matters, use qualified professional tools and advice.

Read the plain-language terms

Timestamped context

Saved versions help show how a cloud note developed over time.

Deliberate finalization

Locking separates a working note from a record you consider finished.

Shareable context

A public record link lets someone view the content and its visible record details.

Still have a question?
What is UrNotes?

UrNotes is an iPhone and iPad app for timestamped notes and lightweight agreements. It is designed for moments when the history and context around a record matter as much as the final words.

What happens when I lock a note?

Locking finalizes a cloud note in the normal UrNotes experience and adds a visible lock timestamp. Review the note carefully first: locking is meant for records you are ready to stop editing.

Does a timestamp guarantee legal proof?

No. UrNotes creates a useful timestamped record, but it is not a notary, identity-verification service, or certified evidence-preservation service. A court, company, school, or other third party decides what it accepts.

How do agreements work?

Create the terms, add participants by email, and let them accept or suggest changes. UrNotes keeps the content and acceptance status together so a lightweight agreement is easier to follow.

Is version history unlimited?

UrNotes keeps saved version history for cloud notes, but does not promise unlimited archival storage. Keep independent copies of anything critical or subject to formal recordkeeping requirements.

Where can I use UrNotes?

The app is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store. Public note and contract record links can be opened in a web browser by the people you share them with.

Your future self will want the context

Make the record while the moment is still yours.
